Mitchel and Jeny Cherry are passionate leaders with over 16 years of experience serving in the local church. Together, they have dedicated their lives to fostering meaningful relationships and creating spaces where people can grow in their faith, build community, and experience the love of Christ.

They have three amazing children who they love and have seen the Lord work some amazing things in each of them. They love spending time together as a family on vacations and little adventures. Veda, Hayden, and little Theo are very much a part of this call and are excited for this newest adventure.

Over the years, Mitchel & Jeny have served in various roles in the local church. From family and youth ministry to leadership development, teaching and outreach. They are focused on equipping others to live out their God-given purpose. With a shared vision for building vibrant, Christ-centered communities, Mitchel and Jeny are excited to step into the calling of planting a church that reflects the heart of Jesus – a community where people do life together, supporting one another in every season.

Mitchel’s heart for leadership and Jeny’s compassionate approach to ministry have made them a dynamic team. Together, they are committed to creating a space where individuals and families can grow spiritually, serve their neighbors, and engage in meaningful relationships that reflect Christ’s love to the world.

With their love for their family, people and passion for the gospel, Mitchel and Jeny are excited to see what God will do as they embark on this new chapter of ministry, helping others experience the transformative power of Jesus’ love!

Our Leadership

Wildfire Vineyard Church is led by Mitchel and Jeny Cherry as a husband-and-wife team, carrying a shared calling to build a Christ-centered, Spirit-led community.

Mitchel serves as the primary teaching pastor and vision communicator. He helps articulate direction, cast vision, and lead from the front in a way that is clear, invitational, and rooted in Scripture.

Jeny carries a deep spiritual authority in discernment, prayer, and formation. She helps ensure that everything we build stays aligned with the voice of God, shaping the spiritual health and direction of our church.

Together, they lead in true partnership—sharing vision, making key decisions side by side, and seeking God as one. While their roles differ in expression, they are unified in calling, conviction, and responsibility.
